Infinity Productions was thrilled to collaborate with Eye Level Films on an exciting project for the Kentucky Lottery commercial, themed “Your Money Grows.” Tasked with creating several oversized US quarters as props, our team leveraged advanced 3D modeling and digital fabrication techniques to bring this unique vision to life.

Our oversized quarters not only played a pivotal role in the KY Lottery commercial but also highlighted our commitment to delivering high-quality, visually impactful props. Project Details
Oversized Quarter Creation
Our journey began with the design and production of the largest quarter, crafted from Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) using our state-of-the-art CNC router. This meticulous process allowed us to sculpt a detailed and accurate representation of the quarter, ensuring it would stand out as the focal point of the commercial. Once the quarter was sculpted, our lead scenic artist applied a faux finishing technique to give it a realistic appearance, transforming it into a stunning visual centerpiece that captured the essence of the Kentucky Lottery theme.
3D Printed Quarters
To complement the oversized quarter, we produced smaller versions measuring 10 inches and 3.5 inches in diameter using black PLA filament through our advanced 3D printing technology. These smaller quarters were essential for various scenes in the commercial, adding depth and versatility to the production.
After the 3D printing process, our team conducted post-processing and painting to ensure each quarter matched the desired aesthetic, resulting in high-quality props ready for the spotlight.

CAD Design
Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software, we meticulously planned the dimensions and details of each quarter, ensuring precision in the final products.
CNC Fabrication
Our CNC router allowed us to bring the designs to life efficiently and accurately, creating a solid base from which our scenic artist could work.
Faux Finishing
The application of faux finishes added a layer of realism to the oversized quarter, making it visually appealing and in line with the commercial’s theme.
Scenic Painting
Our scenic painting expertise ensured that both the oversized and 3D printed quarters were finished to perfection, meeting the high standards of Eye Level Films.
